Where Do I Go From Here?

The terror reaches back.

Yet again,

Once more.

Breaching the wall

Of darkness,

Commandeering the advent

Of light.

It, for a time,

Had been

Such sweet relief.

Such blissful negligence.

But old wounds,

Freshly awash in

Shards and pus,

Rip apart

My skin.

My brain.

(My soul).

Bleeding out

Every torment,

Caressing madly

Every blow.

I shut myself up

To listen, today, for

Your raging quiet.

I swoon to my knees

To await, forever,

Your immutable light.
