I am 20. I am 70.
So many squirmishes. So much acquiescence.
Pillaging for gold. Severing the clutter.
Chasing after laurels. Probing the holy.
Burning with hunger. Satiated with offerings.
The brutality of attack. The unboundedness of questions.
Impulsive movement. Deliberate steps.
Reckless judgment. Considered practicalities.
The greed of more. The gratitude of enough.
The urgency of love. The depths of cherishment.
Starting over. Completing the circle.
I am neither. I am both.
