Beloved Mother Mary, we ask that you enter the hearts of our Sisters and Nuns and console them in their sickness.
Give them strength to face the sicknesses that pierce our bodies: cancers, viruses, the diseases of heart and lungs. Give them courage to face the illnesses that impair our minds and rob us of thought: Alzheimer, strokes, and others that diminish our ability to perceive the world. In their time of physical trials there may be fear, resentments, confusion or doubts and a weakening of faith as they themselves become weaker.
Cradle them Mother in your arms, give solace to their aching hearts, lessen their disappointment in their infirmities, guide them to pray more deeply in their sufferings.
We ask all this in Jesus name. Amen.

Saint Kentigerna feast day is January 7. She was born of royal Irish blood, married, and had a son — Saint Fillan. Widowed, she moved to Scotland in with her son and brother Saint Comgan, to preach the Gospel and evangelize in parts of the country that were still pagan. Eventually she settled at Strathfillan, and in time became an anchoress on Inchebroida Island in Loch Lomond.
Saint Kentigerna, you sought Christ and surrendered all in his name to evangelize and following the will of God, eventually becoming an anchoress; a calling of devout prayer in a solitary life.
We ask you to pray for our holy women that they too feel secure in their calling wherever it may lead, confident in their prayers, and resolve in their commitment to serve Our God in the way he has chosen for them.
We ask all this in Jesus name.

Pray with us, Our Holy Mother Mary, as we pray for our sisters and nuns who in this Advent season prepare they way for others to experience the Incarnation.
Guide them Blessed Mother to more fully embrace your son in their own hearts as they journey towards Christmas.
Help them to not grow weary in service to all of us who need these women in our life.
We pray all this in the name of your son, Our Lord Jesus.

Lord our God, you have called our Sisters and Nuns to serve you and one another in love. Bless our sick Sisters and Nuns today so that they may bear their illness in union with Jesus’ sufferings and restore them quickly to health.
Bless those holy women who have grown old in your service and give them courage and strength in their faith as they approach your eternity.
Lead them all to eternal glory. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Loving God our Father, Merciful Jesus our Brother, Holy Mother Mary, our world is in such turmoil. The sufferings of your children are great, their diseases of body, the persecutions that sicken the heart and soul, seem insurmountable.
We pray to you that our missionary Sisters and Nuns do not succumb to the despair of the people so desperately in need of their strength.
We pray they do not fall victim to the same diseases of body, and fear in their hearts that surrounds them in their service as your hands — your presence in our stricken world.
Lord we pray for the protection of their souls, the strength of their minds, and continued courage in their hearts.
