Having the Tendency to Look Skyward

Having the Tendency to Look Skyward

You set out looking for answers
and found a great many,
tried to help others
with them.

They did not want–
were not ready–
for answers.
They hadn’t even questions.

So, you start again–
with questions…
the same questions
to which you sought answers.

You must still be too far
in the distance to lead,
but now, you pause,
and wait for them

to arrive at their questions.
What delight to find they ask
the same questions you once asked,
the same questions all who look up ask.

Anthropos, will we,
one day,
arrive
at the same answers, too?
