The Fisherman’s Net is Made of Crosses

The Fisherman’s Net is Made of Crosses

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up those things that are wanting of the sufferings of Christ, in my flesh, for his body, which is the church:
Col 1:24 DR

He is broken. In Communion, we are healed, from broken you to One, from divided to united, from disintegrated to whole.

The head leads the body.

He teaches, you follow,
one to another,
united then uniting to Him,
until He is first for each:
a mystical body, His body,
united by grace, suffering, and healing,
united in the Eucharistic body, His body,
a mystery of sacrifice from Him
who offers himself
for His body
taught first by Him
the Head
of the Mystical and True Body.

He taught to serve by leading as a servant,
a suffering servant.
You are taught to serve
the suffering servant
unto the humility of lowering your body beneath the suffering servant–
His body serving your Head.

You serve Him, first and only.
He serves all others
by serving Himself to them
through His servant,
who knows that serving
those He calls her to serve
is serving Him.
This He has taught
of His least.

He is broken to serve you.
You are broken to serve Him.
Your service to Him becomes more
of His service to more of the broken.

You are broken.
In your giving, you are healed,
from broken to One,
from disintegrating to whole,
from suffering to sacred.
