Our past too often hides itself within the contours of today, enjoining our emotions and cementing our proclivities. Yet we are never left without some weapons of discovery and harvest.
Silence, mindfulness, and empathy can help press us further on into the present, while permitting us to exchange yesterday’s coveted agonies for tomorow’s abstract memories.
But seldom do we recognize these as choices set out before us.
