Shadows demand a clarity that even moonlight will embrace.
Catching, then blocking, the light our imaginary frame falls hard against the concrete, returning to our eyes only the barest of favors.
Darkness forever cleaving light.
And so, too, we pretend an anointing of the darkness hidden within. Then humbly boast of evil’s estrangement from our soul
