Self-Revelation

Self-revelation is neither spontaneous nor revolutionary.
It is a slow gathering through our senses, an unconscious accumulation of precious knowledge over time, deliberately brought to bear against the daily caricatures of our world.
Some may label it wisdom. Others delight simply in observing some eternal inter-connectedness, as if each generation is gambling upon the silent assurances of the one before it.
Howsoever and whenever derived, continuing self-revelation is critical to understanding and appreciating our inner, finite, and disordered self; likely the very one that scares us most of all
