Silence and Vulnerability


If you dared look into the eyes of that stranger in front of you, could you remain silent?
A seemingly rhetorical question, but one in search of a simple yet unassailable answer.
Often that stranger is the very one reflected back to us when we are most vulnerable. That this confrontation might be revealed as arising from within may no longer seem extraordinary. But it can yet prove to be disconcerting and challenging.
We as bounded creatures can never be greater than our most limiting fears
