The Little Way
Each small sacrifice,each smaller than the lastfor the weight of so manyalready mounted upon the tree,each greater than the firstfor the distance acrosswhich those who could not seestill believe.
Each small wound,the smallest there has ever been,desired with all loveto be a pearl of great price,and greater still for its smallness,upon the royal crown of victorywhere the finest of the gemswill ever bethe most exactingly cut.
