Under Surveillance: Syrian Rescue Workers “White Helmets” Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

These people are heroes – regular citizens rescuing victims of air strikes and barrel bombs in Aleppo. While the rest of the world appears unable to help, and as more powerful nations seem driven to make the situation in Syria worse, these men and women are accomplishing the impossible.

The “White Helmets” have been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for their courage in the face of unimaginable violence. You can go here to sign the petition to help make it happen.
